Special enforcement actions will be carried out around the city of Shijiazhuang, capital city of Hebei Province, to protect intellectual property (IP), an effort of the municipal IP office to strengthen the IP administrative enforcement and effectively combat patent infringement.

The actions will target places such as marketplaces, distribution centers and supermarkets with a special focus on food, drugs and agricultural products as well as serious cases that have aroused strong concern from right holders and the public.

Interdepartmental efforts will be made to address repeated offense and malicious infringement by administrations in charge of public security, industry and commerce, copyright, cultural market, customs affairs, quality supervision, agriculture and forestry, as part of the attempts to develop a permanent working mechanism and an integrated working mechanism to protect IP rights.

A comprehensive inspection against patent infringements has been launched by IP authorities at county and district level in Shijiazhuang to severely combat fake products to contribute to the creation of a healthy and clean market environment.
